Trending Tickers: $AVGO AI Chip Deals, $INFQ Guidance, $META Muse Spark Launch

This week, several stocks caught investors’ attention, driven by significant developments and market momentum. Here’s the breakdown of this week’s trending stocks:
Broadcom ($AVGO) Expands AI Chip Partnership with Google and Anthropic
Broadcom ($AVGO), a semiconductor company that designs custom AI chips and networking components for major cloud providers, announced expanded long-term agreements with Google and Anthropic to supply next-generation AI infrastructure.
Under the first agreement, Broadcom will develop and supply custom Tensor Processing Units (TPUs) for Google’s future generations of AI accelerators and provide networking components for Google’s next-generation AI data center racks through 2031. TPUs are specialized processors designed specifically for machine learning workloads.
The second agreement is a three-way deal involving Broadcom, Google, and Anthropic. Starting in 2027, Anthropic will access approximately 3.5 gigawatts of next-generation TPU-based compute capacity through Broadcom. This builds on the 1 gigawatt of capacity already coming online in 2026 under a previous agreement announced last October.
According to a Broadcom SEC filing, the expanded Anthropic deal is dependent on the AI company’s continued commercial success. Anthropic said its run-rate revenue has now surpassed $30 billion, up from approximately $9 billion at the end of 2025, and that it now has more than 1,000 business customers each spending over $1 million annually.
On a recent earnings call, Broadcom CEO Hock Tan said the company was off to a strong start with Anthropic in 2026 and that demand was expected to surge beyond 3 gigawatts in 2027. Analysts at Mizuho estimated Broadcom could record $21 billion in AI revenue from the Anthropic relationship in 2026 and $42 billion in 2027.
The deals provide Broadcom with long-term revenue visibility at a time when the broader semiconductor sector has faced pressure. The company reported Q1 fiscal 2026 revenue of $19.3 billion, up 29% year-over-year, with AI semiconductor revenue reaching $8.4 billion, more than doubling from the prior year. Analysts noted that the long-term TPU partnership reduces concerns that Google might eventually insource chip production or turn to other manufacturers.

$AVGO shares rose about 6% following the announcement, marking the stock’s second-best trading day of the year.
Infleqtion ($INFQ) Issues 2026 Guidance
Infleqtion ($INFQ), a quantum technology company that develops neutral-atom solutions for quantum computing and sensing, announced 2026 revenue guidance of $40 million, up from $32.5 million in full-year 2025 revenue.
The company said the outlook reflects growing customer demand for its quantum sensing and computing solutions across defense, telecommunications, and critical infrastructure sectors. For 2025, Infleqtion reported an operating loss of $35.3 million, which narrowed from $53 million in 2024. On a non-GAAP basis, the operating loss came in at $28.1 million after excluding stock-based compensation and acquisition costs.
Infleqtion highlighted several recent business milestones supporting its guidance. In early April, the company launched its first quantum-enabled precision timing solution in partnership with Safran Electronics & Defense, combining its Tiqker optical atomic clock with Safran’s synchronization systems. The solution targets customers in defense, telecom, and infrastructure.
In March 2026, the company delivered what it described as the UK’s only operational 100-physical qubit quantum computing system at the National Quantum Computing Centre. According to the company, this met a major national quantum mission goal. Infleqtion also secured additional government funding, including a $3.9 million ARPA-E award and more than $20 million in contracted funding through a collaboration with NASA on a quantum gravity sensing mission.
“We are seeing growing demand for deployable quantum technologies in mission-critical applications, from precision timing and resilient navigation to large-scale quantum computing systems,” said Matthew Kinsella, Chief Executive Officer of Infleqtion.

$INFQ shares rose about 13% following the announcement.
Meta Platforms ($META) Launches Muse Spark AI Model
Meta Platforms ($META), a technology company that operates Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger, introduced Muse Spark, the first AI model built by its newly formed Meta Superintelligence Labs.
Muse Spark is the first model in a new series called Muse, developed over nine months after Meta rebuilt its AI infrastructure from the ground up. According to the company, the model is designed to be small and fast while still capable of reasoning through complex questions in science, math, and health. Meta described it as a deliberate approach to model scaling, with each generation building on the last before going bigger.
The model now powers the Meta AI assistant in the Meta AI app and on meta.ai. The company said it will roll out to WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, Messenger, and Meta’s AI glasses in the coming weeks. Meta also plans to offer the model in private preview via API to select partners.
Unlike Meta’s previous open-source Llama models, Muse Spark is proprietary, meaning its code and design are not publicly available. The company said it hopes to open-source future versions. The model supports multimodal perception, meaning it can process both text and images. According to Meta, users can take a photo and ask Meta AI to analyze it, such as identifying nutritional content or comparing products.
The company also introduced new features powered by the model, including a shopping mode that surfaces product recommendations from creators and communities across its apps, and an upgraded search experience that pulls in public posts and community content alongside AI-generated answers.
Meta said its AI-related capital expenditures in 2026 are projected to reach between $115 billion and $135 billion, nearly double the prior year. The model was developed under the leadership of Chief AI Officer Alexandr Wang, who joined Meta nine months ago.

$META shares rose about 8% following the announcement.
