This week, several stocks caught investors’ attention, driven by significant developments and market momentum. Here’s the breakdown of this week’s trending stocks:

Nebius Group ($NBIS) Signs $27 Billion AI Infrastructure Agreement with Meta

Nebius Group ($NBIS), an AI cloud company building full-stack infrastructure for developers and enterprises worldwide, announced a new long-term supply agreement with Meta Platforms worth up to approximately $27 billion over five years.

Under the deal, Nebius will provide $12 billion in dedicated GPU capacity across multiple locations, with delivery beginning in early 2027. The company said this will be among the first large-scale deployments of NVIDIA’s next-generation Vera Rubin platform.

In addition to the dedicated capacity commitment, Meta has also agreed to purchase additional available compute capacity across certain upcoming Nebius clusters, totaling up to $15 billion over the same five-year period. According to the company, Nebius intends to sell this additional capacity to third-party customers first, with Meta purchasing any remaining availability.

The agreement expands an already-established relationship between the two companies. According to reports, Meta had previously signed a separate $3 billion infrastructure deal with Nebius, making the new contract a significant expansion of that partnership. The deal comes just days after NVIDIA disclosed a $2 billion strategic investment in Nebius, further cementing the company’s position as a key partner in the AI infrastructure buildout.

Nebius founder and CEO Arkady Volozh said the agreement is part of the company’s strategy to secure large, long-term capacity contracts to accelerate the build-out of its core AI cloud business. The company added that its 2026 financial guidance remains unchanged, as the financial impact of the deal is expected to materialize primarily beyond the current fiscal year.

Stock Price Reaction

$NBIS shares rose approximately 15% following the announcement, closing around $129.85 on March 16, 2026.

Tower Semiconductor ($TSEM) Partners with Oriole Networks on Nanosecond Optical Switching for AI

Tower Semiconductor ($TSEM), a specialty semiconductor foundry focused on high-value analog solutions, announced a collaboration with Oriole Networks to develop ultra-low latency optical networking for AI infrastructure, built on Tower’s silicon photonics platform.

According to the companies, the partnership aims to commercialize nanosecond optical circuit switching — a technology that uses light instead of electrical signals to move data through a network, enabling significantly faster and more predictable performance. Oriole’s PRISM platform uses this approach to address latency bottlenecks that emerge as AI clusters grow in size and complexity.

Tower’s silicon photonics platform allows lasers, optical amplification, switching, and high-speed detection to be integrated on a single chip, the company said. This integration is designed to support the fast tunability and high bandwidth that Oriole’s edge-switching architecture requires for large-scale AI deployments.

According to the companies, the AI networking market is expected to surpass $80 billion by 2030, based on estimates from Dell’Oro and LightCounting. Both Tower and Oriole will be presenting at the OFC 2026 Conference in Los Angeles from March 17–19.

Stock Price Reaction

$TSEM shares rose approximately 11% following the announcement.

Adecoagro ($AGRO) Completes Acquisition of Profertil, Reshaping Its Scale and Business Mix

Adecoagro S.A. ($AGRO), a South American agro-industrial company producing sugar, ethanol, grains, rice, and dairy products, reported its full-year 2025 results alongside details of its transformational acquisition of Profertil S.A., an Argentine fertilizer producer.

In mid-December 2025, Adecoagro completed the purchase of a 90% equity stake in Profertil for approximately $1.1 billion. According to the company, Profertil is the sole producer of granular urea in Argentina, with 1.3 million tons of installed capacity and supplies roughly 60% of domestic demand. The company said the deal was financed through a combination of existing cash, new long-term debt, seller financing, and a $300 million equity raise through the issuance of 42 million new shares.

According to Adecoagro, the acquisition significantly expands its scale, bringing pro forma annual revenues above $2 billion and the potential to generate up to $700 million in EBITDA at mid-cycle. The company said it is now the largest urea producer in South America and has added a business it describes as stable and consistently cash-generating, which it expects will reduce the earnings volatility associated with its existing agricultural operations.

For full-year 2025, Adecoagro reported Adjusted EBITDA of $276.7 million. On a pro forma basis — treating Profertil as if it had been part of the company for the full year — Adjusted EBITDA would have been $467.2 million, though still below 2024 levels. The company said the shortfall was partly due to roughly 91 days of downtime at the fertilizer plant in 2025, including a scheduled maintenance shutdown and an interruption caused by flooding at a third-party gas supplier. A full recovery in fertilizer earnings is expected as operations normalize in 2026.

The broader 2025 results were also pressured by lower commodity prices across crops and sugar, mixed farm productivity, and higher costs in U.S. dollar terms, according to the company.

Stock Price Reaction

$AGRO shares rose approximately 14% following the announcement.
