ONDS

This week, several stocks caught investors’ attention, driven by significant developments and market momentum. Here’s the breakdown of this week’s trending stocks:

Ondas ($ONDS) to Acquire DZYNE Technologies for $875.8 Million

Ondas Inc. ($ONDS), a provider of autonomous systems and defense and security technologies, announced it has acquired DZYNE Technologies, a U.S.-based developer of autonomous aircraft, counter-drone systems, and related defense products.

The deal is valued at $875.8 million and was financed through a mix of cash and stock. According to the company, DZYNE shareholders received $200 million in cash and about 85 million Ondas shares worth roughly $675 million, giving them close to 13.8% of Ondas. More than half of those shares are locked up for six months, which the company said is meant to keep DZYNE’s investors aligned with Ondas over the long term.

Ondas said DZYNE strengthens three areas of its business: long-endurance surveillance aircraft, counter-drone systems, and low-cost autonomous aircraft used for missions such as reconnaissance and cargo delivery. As part of the acquisition, Ondas formed a new division called Ondas Sentinel, which combines DZYNE with its World View unit to focus on U.S. defense programs.

The company also highlighted the financial impact of the deal. According to Ondas, DZYNE is expected to generate about $191 million in revenue in 2026 and more than $300 million in 2027, and is already profitable on an EBITDA basis. Ondas said the acquisition helps raise its own 2026 revenue target to at least $525 million, up from a previous goal of at least $390 million.

Stock Price Reaction
$ONDS shares rose about 5% following the announcement but gave back all of those gains the next day.

TeraWulf ($WULF) Signs 20-Year AI Data Center Lease With Anthropic

TeraWulf Inc. ($WULF), a former bitcoin miner that now develops and operates large-scale data centers for artificial intelligence and high-performance computing, announced a 20-year lease agreement with AI company Anthropic, along with the sale of its majority stake in a Texas data center joint venture.

According to the company, the lease covers its Justified Data campus in Hawesville, Kentucky, and is expected to generate about $19 billion in contracted revenue over the initial term. The site will provide roughly 401 megawatts of computing capacity, built out in phases, with the first capacity expected to come online in the second half of 2027 and the full campus running by early 2028. TeraWulf said Anthropic’s payments are expected to be backed by an investment-grade credit, meaning a financially strong tenant.

To put the deal in perspective, the $19 billion in expected revenue is larger than TeraWulf’s entire market value of around $12 billion, which the company presented as a sign of how much AI demand is reshaping its business.

In a separate transaction, TeraWulf said it agreed to sell its 50.1% interest in the Abernathy Joint Venture, a 168-megawatt data center project in Texas, to an investor group led by its partner Fluidstack. The company stated it will receive about $530 million for the stake, a premium on its roughly $450 million investment, and plans to reinvest that money into data centers it owns outright.

TeraWulf said the two deals together strengthen its long-term revenue visibility and shift its focus toward projects where it keeps full ownership and operational control.

Stock Price Reaction
$WULF shares closed up about 13% on the day of the announcement.

Broadcom ($AVGO) Lands Expanded Apple Chip Deal Worth More Than $30 Billion

Broadcom ($AVGO), a semiconductor company that makes custom chips and wireless connectivity components, is set to receive a major new commitment from longtime customer Apple, which announced a multiyear agreement expected to exceed $30 billion for U.S.-made chips.

According to Apple, the deal will support the production of more than 15 billion chips in the United States and runs through 2031. For Broadcom, the agreement locks in one of its most important customers for another product cycle. Apple is estimated to account for roughly 20% of Broadcom’s annual sales, so extending the relationship for several more years reduces a long-standing concern that Apple could eventually design more of its own chips and reduce its reliance on Broadcom.

As part of the deal, Broadcom will invest $1.5 billion to expand and modernize its manufacturing facility in Fort Collins, Colorado. The company said the site will produce advanced radio frequency components, including FBAR filters, which are small chips that manage wireless signals inside devices such as the iPhone, along with other wireless connectivity technologies.

Broadcom CEO Hock Tan said the company was pleased to grow its manufacturing footprint in Fort Collins and pointed to a decades-long history of working with Apple. The agreement is also seen as tied to Apple’s broader push into custom artificial intelligence chips, an area where Broadcom has become a key supplier for large technology customers.

The commitment comes after a rough stretch for Broadcom shares, which fell sharply in June when the company’s AI revenue guidance came in below what some investors had hoped for. The Apple deal helped ease concerns about Broadcom’s customer base and long-term revenue visibility.

Stock Price Reaction
$AVGO shares rose about 5% following the announcement, recovering some ground after the stock’s decline in June.
