This week, several stocks caught investors’ attention, driven by significant developments and market momentum. Here’s the breakdown of this week’s trending stocks:
Tango Therapeutics ($TNGX) Reports Strong Pancreatic Cancer Trial Results
Tango Therapeutics ($TNGX), a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing precision cancer medicines, announced positive early results from a Phase 1/2 trial testing its experimental drug vopimetostat in combination with Revolution Medicines’ drug daraxonrasib in patients with advanced pancreatic cancer.
According to the company, 92% of patients treated with the combination saw their tumors shrink, a result known as an objective response. The trial focused on patients with a specific genetic profile of pancreatic cancer who had already received one or two prior treatments.
The early benefit also appears to be lasting. The company said 90% of patients showed no signs of their cancer getting worse after six months of follow-up, an encouraging sign in a disease that is usually very difficult to treat.
The combination was also generally well tolerated, according to the company. Most side effects were mild, with rash, mouth sores, and diarrhea being the most common, and no patients had to stop treatment because of side effects.
A second combination tested in the same trial, pairing vopimetostat with another Revolution Medicines drug called zoldonrasib, showed a 52% response rate and was also well tolerated, the company said.
Based on these results, Tango stated that it plans to quickly move the vopimetostat plus daraxonrasib combination into a larger Phase 3 trial as a first treatment option for patients with this type of pancreatic cancer. The company believes the approach could eventually offer a chemotherapy-free option for these patients.

Nuvalent ($NUVL) to Be Acquired by GSK for $10.6 Billion
Nuvalent ($NUVL), a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing targeted cancer treatments, announced that it has agreed to be acquired by pharmaceutical giant GSK in a cash deal worth about $10.6 billion.
Under the agreement, GSK will pay $124 in cash for each Nuvalent share. That price is about 40% higher than where the stock closed before the deal was announced, according to the companies.
Nuvalent focuses on developing drugs for non-small cell lung cancer, the most common form of lung cancer. Its two most advanced drugs, zidesamtinib and neladalkib, target specific genetic changes found in certain lung cancer patients. Both are currently under review by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, with decisions expected later in 2026.
According to the companies, these two drugs are designed to work better and cause fewer side effects than existing treatments. GSK said the deal gives it an immediate entry point into lung cancer treatment and a base to expand further. The acquisition also includes a third, earlier-stage drug and several research programs.
The deal is expected to close in the third quarter of 2026, subject to approval by Nuvalent shareholders and regulators. GSK said it plans to acquire all remaining shares at the same price after the initial offer is completed.

Factorial Energy ($FAC) Completes SPAC Merger, Begins Trading on Nasdaq
Factorial Energy ($FAC), an American developer of solid-state battery technology, announced that it has begun trading on the Nasdaq stock exchange after completing a merger with a publicly traded shell company known as a SPAC. The combined company trades under the ticker symbol “FAC.”
According to the company, the deal gives Factorial an equity value of about $1.3 billion and provides more than $100 million in cash to support the rollout of its next-generation batteries. Solid-state batteries are a newer type of battery that aims to offer more range and better safety than the lithium-ion batteries used in most electric cars today.
The company highlighted a series of partnerships that have helped build its track record. Factorial said it has teamed up with leading drone makers across three continents to develop batteries for electric aviation, and it received a strategic investment from In-Q-Tel, an investor tied to the U.S. national security community, to expand into drones and robotics.
Factorial also pointed to its progress in the auto industry. The company said it partnered with Karma Automotive on the first U.S. solid-state battery production program for passenger vehicles, and that Mercedes-Benz used Factorial’s batteries in a test vehicle that traveled more than 1,200 kilometers on a single charge. Factorial is backed by major automakers including Mercedes-Benz, Stellantis, Hyundai, and Kia.
The company said its business model relies on joint manufacturing partnerships, which is designed to let it scale up production quickly without heavy spending. Factorial plans to ring the Nasdaq opening bell on June 17, 2026.
